Exfoliating Scalp Treatment
Taking proper care of the hair from root to tip is a key to have thick, bouncy, lustrous and beautiful locks. Exfoliating scalp treatment is an essential step in this regard.
It helps you nourish the roots, making your hair strong and healthy. The main purpose of exfoliating is to draw out the dead cells which make the skin look dull and lifeless, obstructing the growth of revitalized skin cells. The scalp also requires exfoliation.
The sebum (produced by the sebaceous glands of scalp) is responsible to keep the hair lustrous and well moisturized. With the increasing age, sebaceous glands gradually lose the production of sebum, which results in rough and dry follicles. The weak and hair follicles is a major cause of thinning hair. Furthermore, the products which contain (DHT) dihydrotestosterone, also contribute in creating debris and obstructing the nutrient and oxygen supply to the hair follicles, thereby making the hair follicles dying and closing. So exfoliating scalp treatment is necessary to maintain the optimum health of scalp.
